Mogadishu (HOL) - Two soldiers were killed on Wednesday when a car bomb they were attempting to defuse exploded in Mogadishu.
Police Major Nur Ahmed told Reuters that the soldiers were in the process of dismantling the car bomb when it exploded.

Mogadishu (HOL) - Two soldiers were killed on Wednesday when a car bomb they were attempting to defuse exploded in Mogadishu.
Police Major Nur Ahmed told Reuters that the soldiers were in the process of dismantling the car bomb when it exploded.
At a major international conference focused on Somalia in London last week, the U.K., U.S., and UN have pledged support to President Farmajo. U.S. military forces including the elite Navy Seals unit have been engaged in combat against the Al-Shabaab in the past month.
Al-Shabaab has vowed to fight the internationally backed federal government since being ousted from the Somali capital in 2011.
